So here it is, my first foray into the world of blogging. Not that this is my first blog; no, I've been pecking away at the keyboard for years on myspace, ranting about this and that.
I plan on using this blog to talk about my CF. Caution: I'm long-winded.
No, seriously. In recent years I've discovered that the things I do to raise awareness can have an impact on the younger CF patients and families that I come in contact with. Why shouldn't my words do the same?
Each of us living with CF have more common bonds than mere faulty genetics. Our experiences help to define us. Our weakness gives us strength. We each have special gifts, and sharing them will help to deter us from the ever constant cries of "why did this happen to me?"
I'm a true believer in the idea that everything happens for a reason. If sharing my adventures with CF positively affects even one person, then I will feel like I have done something to make a difference, however great or small.
